Our History

After 15 years of successfully achieving our mission of improving the lives of clients through knowledge, innovation, versatility & networking, DeliverHealth acquired MIST, Inc. in May of 2021.

The MIST team spent the next 2.5 years executing DeliverHealth’s ambulatory GTM, professional services, and customer growth strategies. In late 2023, Jodie left DeliverHealth to ‘reset’ her priorities and explore various professional pathways. Life at a slower pace allowed for more time with family, nature and self-reflection. It wasn’t long before the “next adventure” began to take shape. Artificial Intelligence was the latest buzzword and was a spark that began to light the entrepreneurial fire. 

SEI Consulting began offering advisory services to maintain connections in healthcare, while exploring opportunities for a “next adventure”. Engagements and client need quickly expanded into actionable services resulting in a need to grow. Melissa Lesley joined SEI as Director extending consulting services to incorporate depth in project management and professional services delivery. Over the next few months, as SEI Consulting’s client base grew, so did the requests from AI technology vendors to have SEI build GTM and implementation strategies. 

The technologies all solved varying pain points in healthcare, many interconnected. SEI quickly found that the love for client-centric innovative solutions drove down the path of something a bit broader in scale. AI has the potential of solving a wide array of problems, however without clinical and workflow knowledge, the technology falls flat or is more open to risk. SEI recognized the critical need for expertise when implementing technology into workflows to ensure client success. 

As much as these new technologies are of interest, customers prefer to work with people they trust, especially when venturing into a land of the unknown, such as AI powered solutions. 

SEI has elected to lean into this preference by creating a value-add distribution model bringing vetted AI-powered technologies to clients of all shapes and sizes through partners who want to join the mission.
